Geekstar wants you to know about Pittsburgh’s next upcoming Geek Night. Will you be there?

From www.PghGeeks.org:

The Pittsburgh high-tech industry is small, incestuous, and full of people we haven’t seen in ages but keep meaning to call and invite to lunch. So we figured, let’s get all those people in a room together for some really efficient social geekery.

Who:
Geeks from All Over

Where: The Church Brew Works, 3525 Liberty Ave (Lawrenceville), Pittsburgh PA

When: Thursday, October 2, 2008

Time:
5 PM – through evening

Parking: Free in the lot behind the church

Join Geek Night Pittsburgh for the sixty-first iteration of the Pittsburgh Geek Night on Thursday, October 2, 2008. Drink beer. Trade stupid user stories. Enjoy the soothing chirp of a room full of pagers.

If you plan on coming, please send email to rsvp@pghgeeks.org so we can maintain a reasonably accurate headcount. Please mention how many heads you’re bringing, who told you about us, and your preferred email address if you would like to be added to the Geek Night mailing list.

Geek Night is held on the first Thursday of every other month. (June 7, August 2, October 4, and so on.) There’s no dress code and no cover charge.
