Don’t Be a Bicycle Monkey

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been taking advantage of the mild end of summer weather and enjoying long bicycle rides throughout the city with friends. Riding in the city is very different than riding in the park or on trails in the woods. In the city, you have to watch for cars, Pat (as in the bus), and pedestrians. It’s always good to be reminded about bicycle safety. Enjoy this educational video about bike safety from the 1960′s. I love that it’s so surreal!

This is a great mash-up of the “One Got Fat” bicycle video and “Everything You Do is a Balloon” by Boards of Canada.

  1. This is awesome. Where did you find this old stuff?

  2. Honestly…it’s like this kind of stuff finds me. Seriously.
