Wooden Shjips: Lazy Bones

I love this San Fran band. I love psychedelic rock.

I heard about Wooden Shjips some time back. Wooden Shjips created the following awesome mix of lesser known San Francisco bands. There is some really old stuff thrown in. Most of the songs on the mix were ripped from vinyl.

Here is a description of the first song. Loves it.

Jesse Fuller – San Francisco Bay Blues
Fantastic one-man band from Oakland who invented his own foot-controlled bass called the fotdella. He also wrote great songs, covered by the Dead and Janis Joplin among others. No overdubs on this one. Dig the blown out kazoo solo!
