Friday Night + Guitar Hero + Camera Special Effects = Dorkalots!!!

Guitar Hero has slowly become a friday night ritual. Almost a happy hour consisting of Yuengling and Mountain Dew before a big night out on the town. Our group has slowly grown from a few to a gang of guitar hero rockstars. We so need to buy rock band.

After a 5 hour video game bonanza Friday night, I have officially become a guitar hero and Wii fanatic – or shall I see Mii fanatic?

Thank you Tres for opening up your lovely home for a party – with hopes of many more! Guitar Hero has me hooked. I automatically love any game that involves Primus’, John the Fisherman, and Sonic Youth’s, Kool Thing.

Creating Miis at midnight, was the icing on the cake. Miis are tiny avatars you design on the Wii as your game player. Mii creation has actually turned into it’s own cultural phenomenon.

There are plenty of Mii celebrity look-a-like sites which I find very entertaining.

However, I wanted to share this little gem: www.fabjectory.com.

For $50, Fabjectory will create a look-a-like Mii statuette of your avatar. You simply send them a photo of your Mii and they do all the rest. Brilliant. This is the perfect surprise gift for your Wii loving friend. There are rumours of Wii statuettes being used as cake toppers at weddings. Can I say geek love?
